My approach fits that culture very naturally because I do not see tutoring as simply explaining answers. I see it as helping students think, build confidence, and become more independent learners.
I focus on understanding each student first: their strengths, weak areas, pace, and mindset. Then I adapt my teaching so lessons feel personal, structured, and encouraging rather than one-size-fits-all. This helps students feel supported while still being challenged to grow.
I also believe education should be interactive and meaningful. In my lessons, I break down difficult concepts into simple steps, use guided practice, encourage questions, and make sure students understand why a method works instead of just memorising it. That aligns well with a culture that wants to redefine tutoring, because real learning happens when students become active participants in the process.
Another reason I fit this approach is my own journey. I am currently pursuing Medicine at the University of Milan, and after recovering from a spinal cord injury, teaching became a major part of how I rebuilt my confidence, discipline, and direction. That experience made me more patient, empathetic, and committed to helping students overcome their own barriers in learning.
With 7 years of experience teaching Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, I bring strong academic knowledge, adaptability, and a student-centered mindset. I would contribute to ConnectPrep by combining clarity, encouragement, and personalised support so that students do not just improve in grades, but also grow in confidence and independence.
