I studied Modern Languages at the University of El Salvador and discovered my passion for teaching. I started working with an NGO where I taught English, then I was hired at a public and private school. Also, I did some teaching via Skype, which is how I helped others improve their learning course.

Most of the time, my students ask me to prepare a conversational class where the student chooses a topic of his/her interest. When I had a classroom, I used to use a book from where I would prepare my class. I like using current topics to keep the student's attention going.

Depending on the level of the student I decide what to teach but before the first lesson takes place, I ask the student about his/her level so I can be better prepared. Sometimes I assign homework, I have a variety of topics to talk about with every student.

My main focus is conversation. At the end of the day, that is what most students want, to be able to communicate. Even beginners can have mini conversations from day one with me, we do a lot of repetition and vocabulary and move forward to different material to advance your knowledge of the language. All I ask from the student is to practice after each lesson because if you do not practice, your improvement will be slow.
