*Hello I’m Norma and I’m a native English teacher with a standard American accent, living in Spain. I’ve over 15 years of teaching experience online and in person. I also have a TESOL and a Cambridge CELTA certificate.

*I teach students of all levels, from beginners to advanced. I teach General English and also offer exam preparation classes, primarily for Cambridge and APTIS. I have helped dozens of students prepare for the B1, B2, C1, and C2 Cambridge English exams, achieving great results. (Please keep in mind that these students worked hard to earn their certificates with my guidance, support, and consistent assignments).

*Here's how it works:
Your initial evaluation is conducted by me, followed by a 15-30 minute free trial where you can ask me about my courses/lessons. Additionally, I'll design a personalized curriculum based on your level and goals.

Our first class can be conducted in two different ways: We can start with a conversation lesson to get to know each other and understand what you hope to achieve with my lessons. Alternatively, we can do a short vocabulary and grammar level test together to assess your current proficiency level and to demonstrate how I conduct lessons when working with a course or workbook in class

*All materials, including books and homework corrections for writing, are included. Official Cambridge English preparation materials are utilized in my lessons, along with additional resources.

*We cover all parts of the exam by working with the student's book, which makes the lessons enjoyable. This includes:

*Grammar
-Reading and Use of English
-Speaking
-Listening
-For business conversations, I provide PDF files created by me containing relevant vocabulary, which I include after each lesson."

*Online classes:
I prefer Skype, but I can also use Google Meet if needed.

*You can also bring a friend, and you both will have your own virtual class for the group price. The price per student is 12€ per hour.



***American accent training focuses on sounds, stress, intonation, and connecting words to help you sound more natural when speaking English, both in speech and reading.

***Linking is crucial for sounding like a native speaker, and with practice, you'll gradually identify those words and phrases on your own. Additionally, speaking in English will become easier as you connect words, noticing that many letters aren't pronounced, will make learning the language more enjoyable.

***We can use any material of your preference or mine. The materials I provide are in PDF format, created by me using real linguistic tools to ensure accuracy and fidelity to standard American pronunciation. Price per student 18€ per hour.

Every month, I participate in virtual Cambridge meetings online, organized by the Cambridge Webinar Team. I have received certificates for each meeting I attended; the most recent one is from June 2023 for B2/First, C1/Advanced, and C2/Proficiency levels. I can provide these certificates upon request.
