Oliver Riley

As a teacher I have worked privately, in the public school system and in an academy. I have a full collection of Cambridge English Grammar books for all levels. I have taught children, teenagers and adults. I have experience working with materials from both the British Council and the Oxford University Press. I have experience teaching in both the PPP and ESA methodologies. My personal method is to focus on conversational elements of the language, asking questions to elicit the correct use of grammar, whilst also covering the relevant form and theory when required.

I am a native and fully qualified teacher of English as a foreign language. I have experience teaching online (Skype, Teams, Zoom), over the phone and in person. I have also taught in public schools and in an English academy. I have taught classes of children, groups of adults and individual adults. Before teaching I worked for several major businesses and 2 major sports teams.
