(Online) Speak English with confidence; pass your exam!

About me: Hello! I'm Rachel, a TEFL & CLIL qualified native English teacher with 15 years experience, both in the classroom and online. I've taught English in 7 different countries (Spain, Czechia, Bulgaria, Finland, Mexico, China, Costa Rica) and I've taught just about everything in that time! including specialist topics such as Sociology and Health Sciences in English, Business English, and Theatre. My speciality is teaching Speaking, including pronunciation, fluency and verbal agility. The student is largely in control of the classes: we will speak about what interests you and is relevant to you. I can also teach you vocabulary related to your favourite topics, and help with any grammar issues. I also offer exam preparation (PET, FCE, CAE, IELTS, TOEFL). About the classes: My style is dynamic with lots of different activities; even with exam preparation the classes will be 80% verbal/speaking. My activities are designed to engage the student and practice the language, whilst also having fun! One of the biggest things that students get from my classes is confidence,, I encourage students to speak and improve without being afraid of ''getting it wrong". Please note: I specialise in teaching adults and young adults (ages 16+). I don't work with young children - this requires a different skill set than mine.
