Pallab Mondal

I am Pallav Mandal, a Master's degree holder in Physics and a B.Ed.-trained teacher. My goal in teaching IGCSE, IB and AP Physics is not just to help students achieve good marks, but also to help them delve deeper into every concept and develop a genuine understanding of the subject.

I make complex formulas understandable through simple explanations, practical examples, diagrams and step-by-step problem-solving. I create individual lesson plans according to each student's weaknesses, learning speed and examination objectives. I emphasize exam strategies, answer writing according to marking schemes, mathematical problem-solving and practical skills, including IGCSE Paper 6, graphing and data analysis.

My teaching approach also focuses on making students comfortable asking questions, learning from mistakes and tackling unfamiliar problems independently. I use past papers, timed practice sessions and targeted feedback to identify gaps in understanding and track progress over time. For IB and AP Physics, I help students develop analytical reasoning, interpret experimental results and connect mathematical models with physical phenomena. For IGCSE students, I provide structured guidance on command words, units, significant figures, experimental variables and evaluation techniques.

I also encourage students to explain their reasoning clearly rather than simply memorising formulas. My lessons are designed to be engaging, interactive and focused on measurable improvement. I believe that every student can improve with the right guidance, patience and consistent practice.

My ultimate aim is to build students' confidence, independent thinking and a strong conceptual foundation instead of encouraging rote learning. I want my students to understand how scientific principles apply not only in examinations but also in everyday life, preparing them for future academic challenges and scientific studies.
