Paloma Algarra Resino

My classes are friendly, supportive and interactive, designed to make learning English enjoyable while building confidence at every stage. As a native Spanish speaker who has lived in the UK for over 20 years, I understand first-hand the challenges and rewards of learning and using English in everyday life. From pronunciation and grammar to vocabulary and conversational confidence, I can share my personal experiences, practical strategies and tips to help you overcome common difficulties.
I bring extensive professional experience in coaching, mentoring and delivering training and workshops. Throughout my career, I have supported people from different backgrounds, helping them develop new skills, confidence and knowledge. My experience as a one-to-one reading volunteer has also strengthened my understanding of the importance of patience, encouragement and adapting to individual learning needs.
My teaching approach is personalised and practical. Lessons will be tailored to your goals, level and interests, combining conversation, listening, reading, vocabulary and grammar exercises. We can use real-life situations, everyday topics, interactive activities and relaxed conversations to make learning relevant and engaging.
I believe making mistakes is an important part of learning, so I aim to create a positive environment where you feel comfortable practising, asking questions and progressing at your own pace.
Whether you want to improve your conversational English, develop your confidence, or strengthen your language skills, I will support and encourage you every step of the way. Let's make learning English an enjoyable journey together!
