My name is Patricia Delgado Castro. I would like you to consider my application for a possible vacancy at your centre. Hence, I will now underline the key points regarding my professional experience and academic training.
After obtaining a very solid education and training to become an English and Primary teacher, my experience in the field has been very intense and enriching, both for my students and for myself. Therefore, I intend to keep this job as part of my professional career. As far as this is concerned, I would like to remark that I have a degree in English Philology which I obtained at León’s University. I also hold a Degree in Primary Education, majoring in English, which I achieved at Leon´s University. In addition, I have attended several courses to improve my techniques and skills as a teacher. Furthermore, I hold the Pedagogic Aptitude Certificate, and the DECA certificate (Ecclesiastical Declaration of Academic Competence).
My professional career has addressed, up to now, the world of teaching. I have worked in my current location in several centres. As you will see on the attached CV, throughout my career, I have worked in a varied range of schools and with a heterogeneous group of students, from toddlers in kindergartens to adult people. Within my speciality, I have taught English, Spanish, and French. Moreover, I have taught other Arts subjects and courses such as Spanish Literature, History, Geography or Philosophy. I also have a great capacity to manage big and small groups and I love teaching no matter if it is to children, teenagers, or adults.
Regarding my language skills, I am a native Spanish. I can also speak and communicate in English very fluently. Moreover, I have a medium level of written and spoken French. In addition, I am quite good at the use of computers and other IT skills.
I consider myself to be a proactive, communicative person, willing to be part of a team and give each patient the highest standard of service he or she deserves. Besides, I am dynamic, constant, dedicated, responsible and always ready to learn new techniques and methods which may improve my working skills.
