Portuguese teacher for foreigners with more than 10 years experience

My name is Elsa, and I am a native Portuguese teacher for foreign students, as well as a proofreader. It is an honor to share not only my knowledge of the Portuguese language, but also Portuguese culture and literature, helping students gain the confidence they need to fully immerse themselves in the language! I believe that learning becomes significantly more engaging when guided by a committed and highly motivated teacher, which is the approach I consistently bring to my work. I offer Portuguese lessons from levels A1 to C2, following a multidisciplinary methodology that integrates grammar, speaking, and writing skills in European Portuguese. In addition, I have experience as an educational designer, which has strengthened my ability to structure and develop comprehensive language courses tailored to different learning needs and objectives. I carefully design lesson plans and materials to ensure clarity, progression, and student engagement. I provide all necessary learning materials, including grammar presentations, vocabulary resources, and audio exercises. I also incorporate Portuguese songs and literary texts—adapted to each level—to create a more organic and culturally rich learning experience. I have worked at several schools for foreign students, delivering intensive courses both in person and online, consistently achieving strong results with dedicated learners. Many of my students have developed the ability to communicate and write accurately in Portuguese. I have also successfully prepared students for CAPLE and DIPLE examinations.
