Hello!
I am a qualified and experienced English teacher. My name is Rachel. I have experience in teaching English in academies for years (in small groups and also individually) at different levels. I prepare students to pass official exams such as (First Certificate, Advanced, P.E.T), this is something I am still doing now, and to succeed in a job interview too. Some lessons are just focus on speaking activities in order to help students to become more fluent when speaking English and improve their English vocabulary at the same time.
I have also worked in a company as a translator: (translating texts from Spanish into English and viceversa) so I can help you with your translations in case you need a translation for work.
Although the lessons are mainly focus on speaking activities, I combine them with a bit of grammar when necessary, in order to avoid that the students repeat the same grammar mistakes. This always depends on the student´s aims, And I will also give you homework, as I think that this is a way for the students to revise what they have done in the class and realize about their doubts.
The material used in class is very interesting: (readings about different topics, photos to talk about, useful vocabulary and useful English expressions, proverbs, phrasal verbs...
