Rey Bado

Hola a todos,

My name is Rey Bado all the way from the beautiful islands of the Philippines. I have been currently living in Spain for almost 2 years now, and I have loved every minute of it. My favorite city is in Cordoba, but my favorite island is in Gran Canaria. I love to eat paella and gambas al ajillo. I love talking to Spanish teenage students, as I get to learn new cool things from them while we are also practicing conversational English.

My professional background demonstrates a proven track record in English language education across diverse settings. Recently, I served as an English language assistant & culture ambassador with Spain's Ministry of Education (IES Ban~aderos, Gran Canaria), where I facilitated English conversation and cultural exchange in Spanish schools.

Prior to this, I had successfully taught English as an ESL teacher in Thailand, worked as an English camp mentor in Italy leading high-energy interactive activities, and served as an English language volunteer at Pueblo Ingle´s in Spain. These diverse experiences have equipped me with a deep understanding of student-centered pedagogy, multicultural communication, and innovative teaching methodologies.

I finished my degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering in 2009, back home in the Philippines, where I have worked with big tech companies like Microsoft, Telstra, Google, and YouTube.
