My passion for my native tongue has led me to become a Spanish teacher and enjoy the pleasure of sharing my knowledge with foreign students. Teaching Spanish to non-native speakers is a fulfilling experience that allows me to not only help others communicate effectively in Spanish, but also share my love for my own language and culture. As a native speaker of Spanish and avid reader, I have a deep understanding of its many intricacies and nuances. Plus, having studied several foreign languages myself--such as Chinese--, I am well aware of the various challenges that learners face when acquiring a new language. This along with the experience of teaching both Spanish and English (via private lessons) in the past has rendered me a patient and well-equipped instructor, ready to guide students through the language learning process.

As for my academic background, I graduated in English Studies, focusing on both language and literature. Likewise, I hold a certificate for teaching Spanish as a second language by the UEMC (Universidad Europea Miguel de Cervantes), as well as a course on teaching Spanish online by ELEI Internacional. Moreover, I'm also currently pursuing a master's degree in Advanced English Studies. In addition to my expertise in English, I took several courses on Spanish and Galician language and literature as an undergraduate student. This multidisciplinary background has given me a broad perspective on language and literature, enabling me to approach Spanish teaching from a comparative standpoint and better understand the difficulties that speakers of Spanish as a L2 encounter throughout their learning process. Finally, my academic background, coupled with my teaching experience, has prepared me to provide comprehensive and effective instruction to learners of all levels.
