My name is Silvana Gutiérrez Hernández, and I’m a certified Spanish teacher with more than 10 years of experience in language education.

I’m passionate about languages, cultures, literature, cinema, yoga, and swimming, and I love connecting with people from all over the world. One of my main goals as a teacher is to guide learners from different backgrounds to feel confident and engaged when speaking Spanish.

BA in Pedagogy, Literature and Linguistics from Universidad Industrial de Santander (Colombia)

MA in Iberian and Latin American Studies from Sorbonne University (France)

Over the past decade, I’ve had the opportunity to live and teach in Colombia, France, Poland, and Spain. This international experience has allowed me to work with diverse audiences — from high school and university students to business professionals and travelers.
I’m especially comfortable working with English, French, and Polish speakers.
