I have effective Teaching Strategies such as: Understanding the students’ needs, with that I can tailor my lessons to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student. Whether that be visual, aural, read/write or other learning and study styles. I also will conduct an assessment to understand each student’s goals, strengths and weaknesses. In my lessons I plan to use interactive tools and multimedia content such as: videos, quizzes and games to make learning fun and engaging. I will set clear learning objectives for each lesson. It will help students to understand what should be achieved and understood by the end of the class. It is important to provide constructive feedback regularly, as it will help students understand their progress and areas that can be improved. I also find that being flexible with lesson plans and adapting lessons or activities to accommodate a student’s needs, based on how students are responding and interacting. If one method isn't working, I don't hesitate to try something new. I plan to use technology to enhance learning. To engage students: When establishing a good relationship with your students, you must understand that these things help students become engaged and more encouraged to learn: Be approachable, encourage questions, and show genuine interest in their learning and progress and be available to help them in any stage along their road to learning a new language. I will also use active learning to encourage active participation by using discussion-based methods, such as helping students recall information and offer opinions. The students can share their opinions and experiences based on the concept and theme of the lesson. Using visual and audio aids: I will use visual and audio aids to cater to different learning styles. It has been proven to be very effective for language learning. By implementing group activities and breakout sessions to foster collaboration and peer interaction and learning, encouraging students to seek conversations in social settings. Introducing elements of gamification of learning material to make learning more engaging. Reward systems such as: badges, prizes and leaderboards can motivate students to participate actively. Finally, using these strategies to relate lessons to real-life scenarios to make them more relevant and interesting.
