About the Instructor
Hi, I'm Tony Maygoli, and I've been playing guitar for over 30 years. With a passion for music and teaching, I've developed a comprehensive and engaging method to help students of all levels achieve their guitar-playing goals. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, my classes are designed to make learning enjoyable and effective.

Class Methodology
1. Personalized Learning Paths:
Every student is unique, so I tailor lessons to match your interests, goals, and current skill level. We’ll start with a FREE consultation to understand what you want to achieve and create a roadmap to get you there.

2. Fundamentals First:
For beginners, we focus on building a solid foundation. This includes:

Basic chords and strumming patterns
Proper hand positioning and technique
Reading music notes and/or tablature and basic music theory

3. Technique and Theory:
As you progress, we'll delve deeper into:
Scales and modes
Fingerpicking techniques
Advanced chord shapes and progressions

We'll learn songs that you love, from classic music, flamenco and pop hits. This not only keeps you motivated but also helps you understand how to apply techniques in real musical contexts.

Regular performance opportunities help build confidence. We’ll have informal recitals where you can showcase your progress (of course, if you wish so). I’ll also provide effective practice routines to ensure steady improvement.

With over 30 years of teaching experience in Canada, USA, Japan, Korea, Spain, Mexico, and..., I've worked with students of all ages and backgrounds. My approach is student-centered, focusing on making learning fun and effective. I’ve performed in various bands and solo projects, giving me a practical perspective on musicianship.
