English / Spanish Teacher - University Degree - 5 + years of Tutoring Experience

With my university degree, five years of experience as a Spanish and English tutor, and my current role as an English teacher, I am confident in my ability to assist you with your language learning needs.

I provide online language lessons via Zoom, working with students of all ages and levels. My English and Spanish lesson plans are tailored to each student's specific goals, whether improving oral competence, preparing for exams, or starting from the beginning. I have experience teaching students ranging from 4 to 70 years old, and I am adept at catering to diverse needs.

As a native English speaker who learned Spanish as a second language in university, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and the importance of having a supportive tutor. I also have experience working with individuals who have learning disabilities and I am skilled at adapting my teaching methods to suit each student. I am here to support you in every step of your language journey.

In my lessons, I assess each student's comfort level and progressively challenge them each week. For students preparing for exams, I provide additional tasks throughout the week to enhance their skills. I have helped secondary school students get the results they wanted in the Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate in Ireland. For those simply looking to learn the language, I encourage frequent speaking practice and recommend specific activities to support their learning. My goal is to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of each student.
