I then adapt myself to them, and look to maximise our time with methods that work for them.
I have taught many Spanish speaking students to learn English, and know the common mistakes that happen when switching from Spanish to English, for example, mas feliz to more happy, when it needs to be happier. These common problems can be easily fixed with correct understanding and changing the way we speak.
I allow the students to speak freely and manage my speech to ensure that I am understood. Keeping a conversation going. The lesson is very important as it allows trust and confidence to build between myself and my students.
I am open to any questions from my students, however big or small.
