Why does it feel like Accounting is complex?

I am a CPA, with a master’s degree in taxation who is passionate about making creating solutions to complex problems. As a student, I often saw most of my peers confused during maths and Accounting courses, no matter how many textbooks they purchased. This inspired me to start tutoring early enough offering my fellow students help with Accounting and Finance courses. I have been tutoring university and college students from different universities for more than 5 years now outside of Wyzant.

I want to help students feel confident and succeed in their Accounting courses. I am quick to respond and have a flexible schedule. My experience shows that while some students find these subjects (Accounting, taxation, MS Excel, QuickBooks, Finance) challenging, there are others that want to learn more about them! I, therefore, offer a flexible, need-based package tailored to meet the student's requirements as well as their budget.

I require a 24-hour notice on all cancellations, though I am open and happy to reschedule. I work as a virtual accountant for a tech start-up company. I am open and available to work on weekends. Please feel free to contact me to chat about any questions and/or to set up a lesson!
