Hi, I'm Paula.
I’m a native Spanish speaker from Madrid, a teacher by vocation with a Master’s in Montessori Education and over five years living and working in Ireland, where English was my daily working language, and where I also taught Spanish to people learning it from scratch.

Living in a country without speaking its language changed me. I know exactly what it feels like when you want to say something and the words aren’t there. I know when to push and when to let go. And I know we learn much better when what we study connects to something real: an emotion, a situation, a conversation that matters.

I work with children, teenagers and adults up to B1 level. With the little ones, Spanish becomes a game, they learn without even realising it. With teenagers, we start from what genuinely interests them. With adults, the approach is practical and judgement-free: the space to make mistakes that many never had in school.

Beyond the language, what drives me is connecting with people and helping them reach their goals. Teaching, for me, is not just about passing on content, it’s about building a relationship. I believe that when there is trust and real listening between a teacher and a student, we both learn.
