Spanish lessons

Great class as always! Really enjoyable and always tailors the classes to suit. For example, spending time on my work, helping prep presentations or role plays in Spanish. Highly recommendable

María es una excelente profesora de español. Ella me ha ayudado desde cuando era una principiante. Puede explicar las cosas de manera muy simple para que entiendas todo claramente. Es siempre amable, brillante, divertida, y tiene un alto nivel de paciencia. A parte de eso, me siento muy cómoda durante cada clase con ella. La recomiendo absolutamente.

I began learning Spanish in December 2018. Six months later, I felt more confident and wanted to have real conversations with native speakers. In September 2019, I had my first lesson with María. From the beginning, I realized that she is a special teacher who really values her students and their goals. María has the ability to realize where you are in the language learning process and drive you to take the next steps at whatever pace you are comfortable with. María has inspired me and gives me confidence in my Spanish that I would have never realized. Since that first lesson in September, María and I have talked almost every week and my speaking and comprehension skills have soared. Finally, in August 2020 I started my new job as a High School Spanish Teacher at a prestigious school here in the US! She still continues to help me in my graduate-level Spanish literature courses. I owe a lot of the credit for my accomplishments to María and I am glad to call her mi querida amiga!
