Spanish teacher for all levels with great audiovisual resources

I am a Spanish native speaker from Chile. I use videos, photos, and even cartoons to make sure every class is not simply a language class, but rather a complete culture class, offering a view into the literature, history and the everyday life of Spanish America and Spain.

I have a Graduate Certificate in Spanish Language Teaching to Adults (GCSLTA) from The University of Roehampton of London and Instituto Cervantes of Spain. I also hold a PHD degree in Spanish American Literature and BAs in Journalism and Sociology.

For 20 years I have been a consultant for the United Nations in countries such as Paraguay, Bolivia, Ecuador and Chile and as a journalist I have worked for several media in Latin America and Spain. I am familiar with most of the communication forms or speeches used in the different regions of Spain and Spanish America.

I have taught Spanish for many 20 years, both in groups and in One-to-One lessons in the UK, U.S.A. and in China

I believe tutoring must be adapted to what each specific person requires. For example, obviously, someone who is going on a trip and wants to learn a few basic things to get by has very different needs to those of a high-level professional who plans to work in a Spanish-speaking country, in which case the learner needs to develop Spanish language skills in a variety of areas, from professional requirements, to day-to-day life, administrative tasks, and others.
Once familiar with the needs of the learner, together we can make a bespoke plan to satisfy his/her requirements.
The subject matters covered during my lessons depend essentially on the student goals. Lessons are fully focussed on his/her needs and desired objectives. I am able to teach the Spanish language at any level, age group or level of proficiency.
I use audiovisual media and permanent evaluation methods to measure the progress of each student class by class.
