Introduction and Qualifications
My name is Aidan Shephard. I’m 26 years old and from Ireland. I’m here to offer fun and dynamic classes to students of all levels. I graduated with a first-class honours degree in English and Media from the University of Limerick in 2018. Additionally, I completed a TESOL course in the same University. I’m extremely enthusiastic about learning languages myself so I understand the value of a committed and determined teacher so if you have the same passion and want a teacher you can trust send me an email and we can arrange a first lesson. Finally, I have a good level of Spanish but of course, together we will create an English only environment in class.

Experience
In the past, I have taught classes privately both in Dublin and Barcelona. In 2019 I began working with Vaughan Systems in Barcelona. During my time with Vaughan I taught a wide range of levels as well as students of all ages. Additionally, I taught a business english program over the course of 5 months. As regards teaching online, I completed a 2 week online training course with Vaughan therefore I’m familiar with using ZOOM.

Method
I believe that a fast, dynamic and intense class is most beneficial for the student (It is also my favourite way to teach). During my time with Vaughan I loved the intensity of their method and I hope to continue to use what I learned with them in my private classes. Of course I can adapt to the needs of each student and together we can create a class suitable to your needs.
