Alan Chadwick

Hi! I’m Alan, an experienced English teacher from the UK with a CELTA qualification and more than 10 years of experience teaching English to adults, teenagers and professionals.

I’ve taught General English, Business English, conversation classes and Cambridge exam preparation, both online and in the classroom. I’ve worked with students from many different backgrounds and levels, from beginners who need confidence using everyday English to advanced students who want to improve their fluency, accuracy and professional communication.

My classes are practical, relaxed and focused on your individual goals. I believe students learn best when they are actually using the language, so speaking and real communication are always an important part of my lessons. At the same time, I can give clear explanations of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation whenever you need them.

We can work on conversation, Business English, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, exam preparation, interview practice or English for travel and everyday life. I adapt the materials and lesson style to your level, interests and objectives rather than following the same programme with every student.

Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable speaking English, making mistakes and gradually becoming more confident and independent.
