Her professionalism, dedication and patience with students helped to improve level of Spanish language significantly, personally for me and rest of my colleagues within the Company. Classes were built the way to pursue students to talk, meanwhile Alba correcting the mistakes within the group. Lots of materials, different stories and easy explanations. Personally, I am looking forward to continue classes with Alba and keep improving the level of language. Her ability to put me at ease is something which I appreciate greatly when learning the Spanish language, especially during the early stages when nerves ran high. This is why I asked for private lessons specifically from Alba. Her personality really helped me progress from level A2 to B1. Alba is an excellent teacher and my Spanish has improved from her tutelage immensely and rapidly. She manages to make something as frustrating as the distinction between 'por' and 'para' super clear and even fun. Her explanations are helpful, illuminating and well grounded in the semantic and syntactic structure of Spanish. More importantly, perhaps, Alba is very perceptive of her students' strengths and weaknesses. She is great at tracking which issues need work and steers lessons effectively towards improving those skills (in my case, the various past tenses). Finally, Alba is excellent at correcting and criticizing without shaming her student. This is not a common trait amongst teachers and illustrates her care and understanding of her students. I highly recommend her as a teacher if you want to improve your Spanish effectively and enjoyably.

Having been through several language teachers in my life, I can confidently say none of them has impressed me as much as Alba. She’s incredibly professional and her resume alone can sweep you off your feet, but she’s at the same time genuinely fun to talk to, which is a huge benefit when you’re trying to become a more fluent speaker. After barely three months of regular classes I can definitely already see an improvement, feel more at ease talking to other people, and more confident approaching more and more complex subjects. Looking back at our classes, it’s very clear to me that Alba can easily adapt her teaching style to the student’s needs and has a lot of patience even for the slowest of learners. She has shown time and time again that she has no problem preparing engaging lessons and making even the most boring aspects of learning a language (grammar, anyone?) fun. Tengo clases particulares con Alba y a mí me gusta mucho su formar de enseñar. He probado otros profesores o clases en escuelas de idiomas pero siempre estaba insatisfecho rápidamente. First of all she was very clear and professional. Punctual, and structured, and the room were we had lesson was, easy to reach (central position) and a quiet place, perfect for the concentration. Then, she knows how to adapt herself to the student. I’m mixing Italian and Spanish, so she proposed me a lot of exercises to “limpiar” my “Itagnol” and to ensure a maximum of progress. Finally, she is very flexible and listen to the needs of the student. I asked for an intensive two weeks of lessons (30h in total) so I wanted to have fun while learning a language. So she proposed me a lot of activities to open my mind to another culture. So we had lessons in different places (coffee bar, squares, while walking), we did guided tour (one in the old town and then the Modernism) we also did a wine degustation, she brought me to taste typical tapas etc.. And everything in Spanish of course! In conclusion, I really recommend her and will even try continue to have lessons trough skype ??

I can highly recommend classes with Alba to anyone who is looking for a professional Spanish teacher. Based on my previous experience (with different foreign languages) I know how difficult it is to find a good private teacher who offers high quality classes at a resonable price. Already from the first class with Alba you can understand that she is experienced in teaching Spanish to foreigners. She has a variety of studying materials and can adjust the teaching programme based on individual needs. Lessons are varfied and interesting. You have a chance to practice every aspect of the language (speaking, reading, writing etc). What I also like is the place where classes take place. It is in a small office (just next to Rambla Catalunya) which is perfectly adjusted for language classes- there is a white board, photocopying machine and all needed studying materials.
