Alba is an excellent teacher with great abilities to develop amazing ambient in the class. Her professionalism, dedication and patience with students helped to improve level of Spanish language significantly, personally for me and rest of my colleagues within the Company. Alba is just as great with correcting the mistakes, and patient explaining the errors again and again. Classes were built the way to pursue students to talk, meanwhile Alba correcting the mistakes within the group. Lots of materials, different stories and easy explanations. Personally, I am looking forward to continue classes with Alba and keep improving the level of language. She is the best teacher, “sin duda”, I met, having many courses and qualifications within my career. Highly recommended for classes within the Companies or private classes.

Alba es una profesora genial y las clases con ella son muy divertidas ! Hacemos juegos, hablamos de muchas cosas ... Además Alba es muy flexible, siempre escucha y adapta las clases a mis necesidades.

Her ability to put me at ease is something which I appreciate greatly when learning the Spanish language, especially during the early stages when nerves ran high. This is why I asked for private lessons specifically from Alba. Her personality really helped me progress from level A2 to B1. She possesses great skill in teaching grammar and has a wonderful list of creative stories to improve your vocabulary as reading will be an essential part of the course. Learning will definitely be a positive and fun experience with her, which is vital if you want to learn efficiently. My quality of life has improved so much since beginning my course with her in Barcelona and I will continue to recommend her to others.

¡Las clases de Alba son geniales! Ella siempre tiene mucho cuidado en preparar lecciones interesantes e informativas. He aprendido mucho muy rápido y espero con ansias el nuevo semestre para poder seguir mejorando.

Alba is an excellent teacher and my Spanish has improved from her tutelage immensely and rapidly. She manages to make something as frustrating as the distinction between 'por' and 'para' super clear and even fun. Her explanations are helpful, illuminating and well grounded in the semantic and syntactic structure of Spanish. More importantly, perhaps, Alba is very perceptive of her students' strengths and weaknesses. She is great at tracking which issues need work and steers lessons effectively towards improving those skills (in my case, the various past tenses). Finally, Alba is excellent at correcting and criticizing without shaming her student. This is not a common trait amongst teachers and illustrates her care and understanding of her students. I highly recommend her as a teacher if you want to improve your Spanish effectively and enjoyably.

Alba has been my teacher for more than 2 years now and I have always felt comfortable learning with her. She is competent, patient and fun. The classes are always different and there is no chance to get bored. Moreover she is an interesting person so we had a lot of good conversations. I really recommend her if you are looking to learn Spanish :)

Tengo clases con Alba desde Abril y me encanta su concepto de estudiar. Es muy organizada, puntual y también flexible. Pero lo más bueno es que Alba es una persona muy amable. Desde tengo clases con ella estoy más motivada y mi nivel de español ahora es mucho mejor que antes, especialmente porque habla solo español con migo (per su inglés es perfecto también). Alba está buscando la combinación perfecta de gramática y conversación. Disfruta tus clases con ella!

Having been through several language teachers in my life, I can confidently say none of them has impressed me as much as Alba. She’s incredibly professional and her resume alone can sweep you off your feet, but she’s at the same time genuinely fun to talk to, which is a huge benefit when you’re trying to become a more fluent speaker. After barely three months of regular classes I can definitely already see an improvement, feel more at ease talking to other people, and more confident approaching more and more complex subjects. Looking back at our classes, it’s very clear to me that Alba can easily adapt her teaching style to the student’s needs and has a lot of patience even for the slowest of learners. She has shown time and time again that she has no problem preparing engaging lessons and making even the most boring aspects of learning a language (grammar, anyone?) fun. Tengo clases particulares con Alba y a mí me gusta mucho su formar de enseñar. He probado otros profesores o clases en escuelas de idiomas pero siempre estaba insatisfecho rápidamente. Diseñamos la clase y los objetivos de aprendizaje juntos y adaptamos el contenido de aprendizaje a mi progreso. No se trata de trabajar las lecciones rápidamente en un libro, sino de poder aplicar lo que has aprendido a largo plazo. Alba es una profesora muy simpática y las clases son muy divertidas. Actualmente mi objetivo es mejorar mis habilidades de conversación y es muy fácil hablar con Alba una hora sin ganas de “trabajar”. Me parece que ahora mis progresos son más grandes que antes. Realmente puedo recomendar las clases de Alba.

Una profesora excelente, muy simpática. Tiene mucha paciencia y se aprende mucho con ella. 100% recomendable.

Yo visité Barcelona y Alba me mostró la ciudad y me ayudó a escuchar y hablar Castellano durante un dia. Ella es muy amable y una buena profesora de la lengua. El dia que yo pasé con Alba fue un gran forma de conocer la ciudad, y ella me mostró muchos lugares para visitar otra vez.

First of all she was very clear and professional. Punctual, and structured, and the room were we had lesson was, easy to reach (central position) and a quiet place, perfect for the concentration. Then, she knows how to adapt herself to the student. I’m mixing Italian and Spanish, so she proposed me a lot of exercises to “limpiar” my “Itagnol” and to ensure a maximum of progress. Finally, she is very flexible and listen to the needs of the student. I asked for an intensive two weeks of lessons (30h in total) so I wanted to have fun while learning a language. So she proposed me a lot of activities to open my mind to another culture. So we had lessons in different places (coffee bar, squares, while walking), we did guided tour (one in the old town and then the Modernism) we also did a wine degustation, she brought me to taste typical tapas etc.. And everything in Spanish of course! In conclusion, I really recommend her and will even try continue to have lessons trough skype ??

I was looking for a teacher for foreigners, to start from the very beginning, and I was impressed by Alba’s CV. My impression was right! Alba’s a real professional - it’s easy and fun to learn, and after first 10 lessons I already feel great progress! Also, I must say Alba is very punctual with the schedule and all lessons are at exact time as planned. Strongly recommended.

I can highly recommend classes with Alba to anyone who is looking for a professional Spanish teacher. Based on my previous experience (with different foreign languages) I know how difficult it is to find a good private teacher who offers high quality classes at a resonable price. Already from the first class with Alba you can understand that she is experienced in teaching Spanish to foreigners. She has a variety of studying materials and can adjust the teaching programme based on individual needs. Lessons are varfied and interesting. You have a chance to practice every aspect of the language (speaking, reading, writing etc). What I also like is the place where classes take place. It is in a small office (just next to Rambla Catalunya) which is perfectly adjusted for language classes- there is a white board, photocopying machine and all needed studying materials. It is like a “individual language school”. Highly recommended! Monika

Alba is a very accessible and friendly teacher. The concepts and methods are explained in a nice and clear way. She adapted her lessons based on our progress and made sure we would cover and practice our weak areas. I feel like I learned valuable knowledge thanks to Alba, I now feel less scared to talk out loud in the outside world :)

Alba is a great teacher who I have had for a few months now. With her I am speaking more fluidly and learning the grammar which before I didn't use properly or at all.

I've tried several Spanish teachers since I got there in Barcelona, and she was the best so I settled with her. She does give classes properly planning what I need to do which is really important since some teachers don't do that. Also she has a office at the center of the city which is also nice, there are materials and white board. Strongly recommend her if you're looking for a reliable teacher in Barcelona.

Alba is a wonderful teacher. I started taking classes a few months ago and my Spanish has improved dramatically since then. The classes are a great combination and she is flexible to adapt to your learning style and needs. She is also very flexible with scheduling, which is very helpful. Highly recommended!
