Hello, my name is Alexander, and I am a dedicated ESL teacher with 13 years of experience and a translator.

Since the mid-90s I had taught intensive English in private courses for 13 years. I had taught one-to-one and group lessons and worked in both classroom and online environments. Among my students there were people of different ages: from teenagers up to almost 60 years old.

Then I had worked as a translator for the international project “Bible Lessons International” for 12 years and translated over 20 volumes of Bible commentaries. In addition, during the last 4 years, I coordinated the work of more than 50 translators from different countries of the world simultaneously.

I offer one-to-one, dynamic and personalized online English lessons and teach levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1. I use the communicative approach: learner-centred, focused on meaningful communication for real life, with heavy emphasis on listening and speaking, as well as giving due consideration to accuracy in grammar and pronunciation, reading and writing. Attempts to communicate are encouraged from the very first lesson. Practice activities (role-plays, discussions, etc.) are put in meaningful communicative contexts wherever possible.

My versatile education background and extensive professional experience allow me to teach both general English and special topics with a deep understanding of the specifics in various fields (management, management consulting, quality management system, mechanical engineering, business, marketing, maritime transport, shipping and navigation, Christianity and Christian theology).

I also teach Russian for those who want to study it in general (language as a means of communication), or improve their individual skills (the ability to speak, listen, read, write, pronounce correctly), enrich vocabulary and master grammar.

The first lesson is free – for acquaintance, organizational issues, determination of the program and schedule of classes. The schedule is adaptable to your needs!

Hola, mi nombre es Alexander, y soy un profesor de ESL con 13 años de experiencia en enseñanza y como traductor.

Desde mediados de los años 90 he enseñado inglés intensivo en cursos privados durante 13 años. He impartido clases individuales y en grupo y he trabajado tanto en entornos presenciales como en línea. Entre mis alumnos había personas de diferentes edades: desde adolescentes hasta casi 60 años.

Después he trabajado como traductora para el proyecto internacional "Lecciones Bíblicas Internacionales" durante 12 años y he traducido más de 20 volúmenes de comentarios bíblicos. Además, durante los últimos 4 años, coordiné el trabajo de más de 50 traductores de diferentes países del mundo simultáneamente.

Ofrezco clases de inglés individuales, dinámicas y personalizadas on-line y enseño los niveles A1, A2, B1, B2, C1. Utilizo el enfoque comunicativo: centrado en el alumno, enfocado a la comunicación significativa para la vida real, con gran énfasis en la escucha y la expresión oral, además de prestar la debida atención a la precisión en la gramática y la pronunciación, la lectura y la escritura. Se fomentan los intentos de comunicación desde la primera lección. Las actividades prácticas (juegos de rol, discusiones, etc.) se sitúan en contextos comunicativos significativos siempre que sea posible.

Mi formación es versátil y mi amplia experiencia profesional me permiten enseñar tanto inglés general como temas especiales con un profundo conocimiento de las especificidades en diversos campos (gestión, consultoría de gestión, sistema de gestión de calidad, ingeniería mecánica, negocios, marketing, transporte marítimo, navegación, cristianismo y teología cristiana).

También enseño ruso para aquellos que quieren estudiarlo en general (la lengua como medio de comunicación), o mejorar sus habilidades individuales (la capacidad de hablar, escuchar, leer, escribir, pronunciar correctamente), enriquecer el vocabulario y dominar la gramática.

La primera lección es gratuita - para conocer, organizar, determinar el programa y el horario de las clases. El horario se adapta a sus necesidades.
