Alexandra Saunders

Hi, I’m Alex! I’m from the USA and I moved to Spain in 2017 in search of a new adventure. I have been actively studying and practicing Spanish ever since, so I know the challenges of learning a new language. I love traveling and experiencing other cultures. In my free time I enjoy hiking, reading, and painting. I also volunteer for a local international women's group where I organize meet ups and help build a growing community where people can connect and make friends. I love learning and teaching a foreign language and getting to know new people!

I've been working as an English teacher both online and in person since 2017. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Geography focusing on cultural studies and minored in Spanish. I completed a TEFL certification course and studied a Masters degree in teaching at the University of Sevilla. I have experience working with students from all over the world and enjoy seeing my students progress. I am an engaging teacher and I take pride in the success of my students. I work hard to provide classes that are both enjoyable and productive.

I plan my lessons based on my student's individual needs. In our first class we will discuss what your goals are and I will develop a plan based on your English level. My classes will include level-appropriate grammar, conversation, vocabulary, reading, and writing activities. I use a variety of online resources including news articles, grammar worksheets, video clips, and more. I adapt my lessons to each student based on their goals.
