Ally

Hello!

I’m Ally, an enthusiastic English teacher from California. I am very passionate about teaching and I love watching my students succeed while enjoying their classes.

I have lived in Spain for 8 years teaching English as a second language. I have experience teaching all ages and levels, in a variety of atmospheres. I started off teaching in primary schools in Madrid, with a focus on conversation. After that, I transitioned to teaching at English academies with a focus on exam preparation. I then went to teach business English with Vaughan Systems. I have most recently taught in South Korea to gain more experience as an English teacher.
I am currently studying a Master’s in Bilingual Education in Madrid to further enhance my teaching skills.

My goal as a teacher is to have my students rapidly improve their English skills while enjoying their classes. I can help you become a confident speaker in English as well as help you prepare for exams or interviews. Each class will be tailored to the student’s needs, and we will be sure to enjoy the class as well.

As I am currently working at a school as well as studying, I only have availability for classes in the evenings and on the weekend. Ideally the classes will be online. However, if a student prefers to meet in person we might be able to arrange that.
