Hey there! Nice to meet you ??

I've been teaching languages, Spanish as a Foreign Language, for over a decade (but don’t worry—I still have all the enthusiasm of a rookie and none of the chalk dust). I spent more than 23 years living in Ireland, where I learned two very important things: how to survive the rain and how to thrive in multicultural classrooms.

I hold a Master’s in Secondary Education, another in Applied Linguistics for Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, and a Bachelor’s in Biology. Sounds fancy, right? It is! But what really matters is that I love teaching—and not the “stand-in-front-of-the-class-and-talk” kind. I’m all about making learning active, fun, and meaningful.

From absolute beginners who barely knew how to say “hola” to advanced learners dreaming in Spanish, I’ve taught them all. I use innovative methods, tech tools, and a good dose of humor to make sure each class is engaging and tailored to you.

Hola, ¡encantada de saludarte!

Soy profe desde hace más de una década (aunque prometo que sigo teniendo sentido del humor y energía de principiante). Mi especialidad: idiomas, más concretamente ELE. He pasado más de 23 años en Irlanda —sí, sí, sé sobrevivir a la lluvia y preparar un “cup of tea” de campeonato— donde me curtí como docente en un entorno multicultural que me enseñó que no hay una única forma de aprender, ¡y eso es lo bonito!

Tengo un Máster en Educación Secundaria, otro en Lingüística Aplicada al Español como Lengua Extranjera, y una Licenciatura en Ciencias Biológicas. Todo esto suena muy serio (¡y lo es!), pero lo que realmente importa es que me encanta enseñar, aprender de mis estudiantes, y encontrar esa chispa que hace que el “¡ajá!” aparezca en sus ojos.

He trabajado con estudiantes de todos los niveles, desde los que no sabían decir ni “hola”, hasta los que ya soñaban en español. Mis clases combinan tecnología, juegos, metodologías activas y, por supuesto, muchas risas. Aprender puede y debe ser divertido.
