Hello! My name is Alyssa Christie S. Ruazol, a TESOL-certified educator and Cum Laude graduate of Bachelor of Special Needs Education with a specialization in Elementary Teaching. I am passionate about helping children develop confidence, communication skills, and a genuine love for learning through engaging and meaningful educational experiences.
My teaching experience includes working with primary learners, particularly Grades 1–3 students, where I taught English focusing on reading, writing, speaking, listening, vocabulary, and grammar development. I create interactive lessons using storytelling, music, movement activities, games, visual aids, and educational technology to make learning enjoyable and effective. I believe that children learn best when they are actively involved in the learning process and feel safe, valued, and encouraged to participate.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in faith, hope, and love. I believe that every child is unique and capable of growth when provided with the right guidance, support, and opportunities to learn. As an educator, I strive to create a student-centered learning environment where lessons are developmentally appropriate, engaging, and designed to meet learners' individual needs and interests.
In my classes, students can expect a positive and supportive atmosphere that promotes active participation, creativity, critical thinking, and confidence in using the English language. I use a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and help students achieve their academic goals while enjoying the learning journey.
Beyond academics, I aim to nurture students' character, self-confidence, and lifelong love for learning. My goal is not only to teach English but also to inspire young learners to become curious, capable, and confident individuals who are prepared to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
