Hello there!

My name is Amy and I would be delighted to welcome you to my ESL classes!

I have over four years of experience teaching English both online and in language schools, I’ve had the joy of working with students as young as four and as young-at-heart as adults. My teaching philosophy is simple: language learning should be fun, engaging, and tailored to you.

I believe in a communicative and student-centered approach. That means that I include:

- Interactive lessons: No endless grammar drills or boring lectures (unless you request them of course)! Instead, we’ll focus on real-life conversations, games, role-plays, and activities that make learning feel natural and enjoyable.

- Tailored to your needs: Whether you’re a beginner, preparing for an exam, or looking to improve your fluency, I’ll adapt the lessons to your goals, interests, and learning style.

- Practical language: We’ll prioritize useful, everyday English—the kind you’ll actually use in conversations, at work, or while traveling. You’ll see progress fast because we’ll practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing in every class.

I have taught in many different settings, from lively classrooms to one-on-one sessions and this has taught me how to create a supportive, encouraging, and fun environment. I’ve helped students build confidence in speaking, overcome shyness or fear of making mistakes, develop specific skills needed for exam preparation and most importantly, to enjoy the learning process!

Every class will be designed just for you and I understand that mistakes are a part of learning; I'll guide you with patience and positivity! You’ll leave each class knowing you’ve learned something new and useful and I will always make English fun, practical and rewarding together. Whether you’re here to chat, study, or prepare for something big, I’m here to help you succeed and enjoy the journey.
