Hello! I'm a TEFL-certified English language teacher from California (the United States) that teaches modern English to students of all ages. I have been teaching for over twenty years, and not just English: I've been a boxing coach, a motorcycle instructor, a math & science teacher, and a history teacher too. I have taught all kinds of subjects to all kinds of students and have learned how to effectively teach just about any student just about any subject, effectively.

My English classes cover the four parts of language fluency—reading, writing, listening, & speaking—with a particular focus on speaking & writing, with helpful coaching and without judgment. In my classes you will definitely learn grammar, but whether your speaking and writing are "correct" or not your brain is still learning English either way. Write the sentence wrong! Say the phrase badly! We'll fix the problems and move forward together. The first step in being good at English is being bad at English.

My teaching method is not specific to any one particular class curriculum, which means we can focus the class on the needs of the individual student: whether you're preparing for a particular English language proficiency exam, trying to learn how to speak English at a business level for work, or simply trying to reinforce & improve your English skills, we can tailor the teaching material to exactly what you want to focus on, and thus help you be that much more successful, faster.
