Hello! My name is April, and I’m a qualified English teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education, major in English. I have always enjoyed working with people and, especially, helping others understand something that may seem difficult at first. For me, teaching is not only about explaining grammar or correcting mistakes. It is also about helping students feel comfortable and confident enough to use English in real situations.

My classes are adapted to each student’s level, personality, and goals. Before starting, I like to understand what the student needs and what they would like to achieve. Some students may need help with school or university, while others may want to improve their speaking skills, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, or writing. If your main goal is simply to become more confident when speaking English, we can also focus on conversation and everyday situations.

I try to make my lessons relaxed and practical. I believe making mistakes is a normal and important part of learning a language, so I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and trying to express themselves. I can explain things in a simple way and, if something is not clear, I am happy to explain it again using a different example.

I also understand what it feels like to learn and use a language in a different environment. Because of my own international experience, I appreciate how important communication and confidence are when living, studying, or working abroad.

My goal is for every student to finish a lesson feeling that they have learned something useful and, most importantly, feeling a little more confident than when they started. I would be happy to meet you, learn about your goals, and help you improve your English step by step!
