Hello, my name is Arina. I was born in Russia (Samara). In 2020 I moved to Spain (Barcelona) where I enrolled in the University of Architecture and at the same time began working as a teacher of the Russian language.
I have been teaching Russian since 2020, and from my experience. Since then, I’ve been helping students from around the world learn Russian through engaging and effective online lessons. In my experience, learning with a native speaker is one of the most powerful ways to master a language—even if you're just starting out.
My teaching style focuses on speaking and reading, as I believe these skills are key to breaking through the language barrier and starting real conversations quickly. We also work with grammar in a clear, structured way, and then reinforce each topic by reading and discussing texts that relate directly to the grammar we’ve covered. This approach helps you immediately apply what you’ve learned in a meaningful and practical context.
I believe my biggest strengths as a teacher are patience, adaptability, and the ability to create a relaxed and supportive learning environment.
I adjust my lessons to each student’s level, pace, and goals—whether they’re a child or an adult. I always focus on making lessons interactive and practical, so students can use the language in real situations. I also build strong communication with my students, which helps them feel comfortable and motivated to learn. One of the best compliments I hear from students is that they didn’t even notice how two hours passed. For me, that’s a sign of a great lesson—and a real connection with the learner.
