Dear students,
I am an experienced teacher with 10 years’ experience in a primary and secondary school setting. I am graduated in Translation and Interpreting Studies and I possess the C2 certificate by Cambridge and Escuela de Idiomas.
The nature of my work in education has prepared me for this position. My interest in teaching stimulated me to lead different methodologies in my lessons such as collaborative work, project-based learning, task-based learning as well as notorious approaches whose effectiveness in the teaching process have already been proved. My role as a teacher is to seduce and embark not only the ones who show a particular interest in the subjects but also those who, by whatever reason, may show lack of interest in it. As part of this, I had to liaise with some colleagues in the design of meaningful activities students may feel seduced by and this team-player work do allow me to keep learning from my colleagues expertise.

In addition, I have successfully employed a gamification approach when teaching and found that this led to many positive student outcomes. A key part of my career is helping students reach their potential, which I work towards by focusing on their interests and likes when teaching.
I am enthusiastic about education and always strive to do the best for my students. I am able to take on responsibility for learning and have experience of successfully managing a class, although I still have lots to learn. I also have the enthusiasm and determination to ensure that I make a success of this role.
