I was a Learning Specialist for a major banking and insurance group in Australia, which included teaching English. I obtained my TEFL certificate in 2020 and since then I have been a dedicated English Teacher. My experience has given me powerful insight into the way people learn, and in particular how rewarding learning English can be. Our classes will be friendly and collaborative. My role is to facilitate your learning and I will do that by focusing on what you need and hopefully, what will delight you as you improve your English. My natural speaking voice is Standard Southern British with a slight Australian accent. I am patient and empathetic. I know how challenging and unpredictable the English language can be. Even for a native speaker! I will suggest exercises that will enable you to develop and improve your English. I have successfully taught students to become better writers, to improve their conversation, to appreciate literature, and of course to develop their careers in English speaking work environments.
