Conversation classes with a Guardian journalist

Hello! I am Kit, a journalist and teacher from the UK, and I am pleased to offer in-person and online English conversation classes in Barcelona. I lived and taught classes in Barcelona from 2012 to 2015 and have recently moved back to live in Gràcia with my girlfriend.

In the years since 2015 I have spent time living in London, Berlin and Glasgow and have been working for the Guardian newspaper/website as an editor and writer, which I continue to do on a freelance basis. My work as a journalist focuses mostly on sport, travel, music, education and foreign affairs, and I have spent a lot of time in Ukraine in the past year and a half reporting on the war.

Classes can focus on whatever interests you, and I am happy to read up on your preferred subject areas if I don't already have a good base of knowledge on them!

€20 per hour, first class (half an hour duration) is free. Group classes also available, please message for details.
