Teaching Assistant in an International School (Ages 18 months to 6 years)

I have been in the Early Years field for 8 years and have taken on various roles such as a co-teacher and kindergarten teacher. I recently graduated from The Singapore University of Social Sciences, earning my bachelor’s degree in both Sociology and Psychology.

I have worked with children from ages 3 months to 6 years and have provided appropriate routine care for them. Throughout my years in the early educational field, I have assisted in and carried out lessons according to various teaching methods such as Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and Play-Based curricula.

I have planned, organised, and carried out a literacy-based after-school book club called The Bookworm Buddies in my previous place of employment – Stamford American International School. This book club was set up to encourage and promote the love for literature, which I believe is essential for this position. In addition, I have both artistic and computer skills that will be an asset when planning, collaborating, and assisting in lessons and projects.
