Beatrix Carmeli

My name is Beatrix Carmeli Lim, and I am currently an incoming English Language Assistant under BEDA (previously with the Ministry of Education), with additional experience as a freelance ESL tutor, and a substitute teacher at an English Academy. I have worked with young learners in classroom and small-group settings, focusing on building confidence in speaking, listening, and communication through interactive and student-centered activities.

With a background in Fine Arts and visual design, I enjoy teaching English through creative approaches such as arts and crafts, games, storytelling, and play-based learning. I believe these methods help students stay engaged while developing practical language skills in a fun and supportive environment. Personality wise, I am creative, adaptive, and optimistic with child-like wonder, therefore, I work great with kids and I can adapt well with adults.
