¡Hola!
My name is Carla and I'm a qualified and experienced Spanish language teacher. I've been teaching Spanish as a Second Language since 2001; 7 years in UK and 16 years in A Coruña, Spain. I teach all levels and I help students to prepare DELE or SIELE exams. I'm a recognised DELE examiner. .
I am originally from Argentina, but I live and teach Spanish in Spain, therefore I can teach either "Latin American Spanish" or "Spanish from Spain".
I've been teaching online for 4 years now and I love it! I teach small groups (up to 6) or individual and tailor-made lessons.
My lessons are designed to fulfill the students needs. I don't believe there is one perfect method to teach, but I prefer the Communicative Method. My main objective is to help students to develop real communication skills and abilities (oral interaction and expression, listening and reading comprehension, and writing expression).
During the online lessons I use a variety of tools to create dynamic and interactive classes: digital whiteboard, screen sharing (to share videos, audios, digital books ), lively chat, power point presentations, personalized interactive activities, etc.
Before booking a lesson pack I offer a 30 minutes trial lesson to assess your Spanish level, set your real goals and objectives and discuss a possible syllabus.
