I am native English from London and currently looking to take on more students children and adults in Barcelona and places within reasonable distance Up to intermediate level.

I have over 5 years of experience working with children ranging from newborn to 18years. I have taught in summer camps here in Catalunya and also in the USA. I have also worked with children with various disabilities and have done many specific courses for different disabilities I.e Autism, cerebral palsy, diabetes, epilepsy ect. I have a unique approach to teaching children which Is through creativity, music and play, the funner the lessons are, the more children learn. I speak a little Spanish and even less Catalan, but am taking lessons at an academy, I only speak English with my students as to fully immerse them is the best approach in my experience, for little emergencies ie you child is upset, then I will speak Spanish to comfort them. Please note I am not advertising to babysit, but am happy to be left alone with the child for the time of teaching, or happy to take them out whilst teaching English, or pick them up from school ect. I have BA Hons fine art and FND art & design, studied child development as part of a MA in psychotherapy, which I didn't finish due to work commitments at the time. I have first aid training for infants and adults and life guard qualifications
