Christine Brien

Hello there! My name is Christine and I'm 33 years old. I have been living in Spain five years. I have lived in Caceres and in Jaen and have now moved to Sevilla.

I have a degree in high school education in the subjects of Business Studies, Accounting and Religious Education from Ireland but unfortunately they do not correspond to Spanish high schools. When I finished college I wanted to teach and to travel so after a few years of saving I decided to move to the continent and follow my dreams. I have been an English teacher now for five years. I have worked in three different academies in Spain where I have taught all levels and all ages. I have also had many private classes over the years.

I have experience in teaching Cambridge exams from young learners to C1. I am available for classes online or in person (Seville) from Monday to Saturday. I am very flexible to suit my students and will do my best for my students to see them succeed. I like to use my class time to encourage the students to speak as much as possible and to lead the discussion. I try to vary the activities when necessary and try to have as much fun as possible. When it comes to exam focus I will push my students as far as they can go. I always say 'why just aim for a pass? Aim for the top mark and you never know what could happen!'
