Claire Eviston

I am a native English (United States) teacher in Barcelona with three years of experience. I have taught both in English language academies and private lessons. I have experience with different levels; from young learners to adults. I have obtained my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) from alma mater, Ohio University. I also have taught Cambridge and Trinity prep courses.
My methodology is dependent on my students' wants, whether that be just conversation or traditional Use of English (vocabulary and grammar task). For young learners, I try to make the classes as entertaining as possible through songs and games to make English feel more natural. After speaking with my students, learning their expectations on what they would like to focus and approve on, I plan the lessons to maximize results. I can offer a free 30 minute trial class; where we can meet and asses for future lessons.
