Davyd Kolobov

I am an English teacher with over three years of experience working with students of different ages and backgrounds, from young learners (8+) to adults in their 60s. Throughout my teaching career, I have worked in a variety of formats, including individual lessons, pair work, and group classes. My experience also includes preparing students for university admission exams such as IELTS, delivering Modern RP pronunciation training, and conducting public speaking classes aimed at improving confidence and clarity in communication.

In April 2025, I earned the CELTA certificate, one of the most internationally recognised qualifications in English language teaching. This training helped me refine my teaching methodology and further develop my ability to create engaging, student-centred lessons. In addition to my teaching qualification, I hold a degree in International Economics from KNEU. During my university studies, Business English was my favourite subject, which naturally influenced my interest in helping students develop language skills for academic and professional environments.

My lessons focus on practical communication, clear pronunciation, and building confidence in speaking. I aim to create a supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable experimenting with language and making progress step by step. Additionally, I adapt materials to individual needs, track progress regularly, and provide constructive feedback to ensure consistent improvement.

I strongly believe that teaching is my calling. Helping students expand their opportunities, broaden their horizons, and achieve their personal or professional goals through English is what motivates me every day. I would be delighted to support you on your learning journey.
