Deborah Davies

I began my teaching career as a drama teacher, which continues to deeply influence my teaching style and the atmosphere I create in my classes. My background in drama has shaped my belief that learning should be dynamic, engaging, and rooted in authentic self-expression. I am passionate about helping people find their voice and express themselves with clarity and confidence, both inside and outside the classroom.

I believe that making mistakes is an essential part of growth in any field — it’s often through those moments of uncertainty that the most meaningful learning happens. Creating a safe, supportive environment where students feel comfortable taking risks is incredibly important to me. When learners feel encouraged rather than judged, they are far more willing to step outside their comfort zones.

Play, creativity, and enjoyment are also fundamental to my values and beliefs. When we are having fun and genuinely engaged, learning becomes natural and memorable. I strive to bring energy, curiosity, and a sense of exploration into every session.
