Hello! I would love to teach and tutor English through conversational practice as well as writing and reading in English to ensure students gain experience and can become comfortable using it in any situations that may arise!

I believe strongly that everyone learns in different ways and would love to create individualised formats of learning that meet not only the needs of the student but also can be done in a way that peaks the students interests. This could be through talking about things that interest them, watching their favourite shows in English and ensuring they are able to understand the dialogue, reading and writing short stories that they enjoy, and so many other possibilities. I believe a students eagerness to learn is of the utmost importance to success in their education!

Although I do not have any professional experience teaching, while in school I often would help my classmates with different subjects. Often teachers would teach me and my classmates rules or formulas without going into the details of why those rules or formulas are in place. This meant when things got more complicated we would struggle to implement these rules/formulas. More often than not I found myself going back and dissecting them in order to understand and be able to continue on with my lessons.

With this experience, I was able to develop a learning approach of understanding concepts from the ground up. I found with patience and inquiring with the student about exactly at which point they begin to not understand the technique or piece of information, I often would be able to break down the concept at a more baseline level and use different methods of explaining until the student felt as though they had a better understanding and felt more comfortable moving on. I would love to implement this method of thinking, teaching, and learning to help other students learn and grow.

My goal is to create a relaxed, positive environment where students aren’t afraid to make mistakes, because making mistakes is part of the learning process. I want my students not only to improve their English skills but also to gain the confidence needed to communicate naturally in any situation.

¡Hola! Me apasiona ayudar a las personas a ganar confianza con el inglés y descubrir que aprender un idioma también puede ser una experiencia divertida y motivadora.

Mis clases se centran en la conversación, la comprensión lectora y la expresión escrita, con el objetivo de que cada estudiante se sienta cada vez más cómodo utilizando el inglés en situaciones reales de la vida cotidiana, los estudios o el trabajo.

Creo firmemente que cada persona aprende de una forma diferente, por lo que me gusta adaptar las clases a los intereses y objetivos de cada alumno. Podemos hablar sobre temas que te apasionen, ver fragmentos de tus series o películas favoritas en inglés para trabajar la comprensión, leer y escribir historias cortas, o utilizar cualquier otro recurso que haga que el aprendizaje sea interesante y entretenido. Cuando disfrutamos del proceso, aprender resulta mucho más fácil y natural.

Aunque todavía no cuento con experiencia profesional como profesora, siempre he disfrutado ayudando a mis compañeros durante mi etapa escolar. Muchas veces nos enseñaban reglas o fórmulas sin explicar realmente por qué funcionaban, lo que hacía que, al aumentar la dificultad, resultara complicado aplicarlas correctamente.

Esa experiencia me llevó a desarrollar una forma de aprender basada en comprender los conceptos desde su base. Cuando ayudaba a otros estudiantes, procuraba identificar el momento exacto en el que surgía la dificultad y explicar el contenido de distintas maneras hasta encontrar la que mejor se adaptaba a cada persona. Creo que la paciencia, la empatía y la capacidad de adaptar las explicaciones son cualidades fundamentales para enseñar con éxito.

Mi objetivo es crear un ambiente relajado, positivo y sin miedo a cometer errores, porque equivocarse forma parte del aprendizaje. Quiero que mis alumnos no solo mejoren su nivel de inglés, sino que también ganen la confianza necesaria para comunicarse con naturalidad en cualquier situación.
