As your teacher, I want to know your goals with English, what you struggle with, and what your interests are. This way, I can make the classroom experience more personal. I like to find ways to relate grammar lessons to a concept my students want to learn more about. Then, they can apply what they learned in a useful way. Whatever you are struggling with, we can work together to improve it! My philosophy is that everyone learns differently and at their own pace. I want to adapt lessons to the way you learn, so they are interesting and easy to understand. If you prefer to read more, I can assign different forms of of literature. If you prefer listening, I'll show a wide variety of media. We can adapt our lessons to fit how you prefer to learn. I also like to encourage creativity in the classroom- mainly through writing. Finding a way to relate the language you're learning to your life is a helpful way to learn. For example, being able to talk about yourself- where you're from, your interests and hobbies, etc- is a great way to apply your learning. I'm open to teaching students of any level of English. I have classroom experience teaching adults from very beginner to intermediate levels. However, if you are more advanced, we can still work well together, as I am a native speaker. In summary, my goal as a teacher is to create an environment best suited for your learning.
