My name is Gerta, and for the past nine years, I’ve had the joy of helping learners from all over the world discover just how exciting and empowering the English language can be. As an English teacher with a degree in Psychology and a 150-hour Master TEFL certification, I bring not only expertise, but also deep empathy and understanding to every student I meet.

Throughout my career, I’ve learned one important truth: no two students learn the same way. That’s why I design personalized, interactive lessons that match each learner’s goals, personality, and unique learning style. Whether I’m guiding a shy young reader or coaching an ambitious adult learner, my goal is always the same to make English feel approachable, meaningful, and genuinely fun.

My classes are lively, creative, and thoughtfully structured. I love using engaging PowerPoint presentations, dynamic discussions, and hands-on activities to turn every session into a memorable learning experience. I specialize in well-known programs such as Reading Explorer, Unlock, Wordly Wise, and Great Writing, and I’m passionate about introducing students to the beauty of American literature. Over the years, I’ve led countless students through beloved books like Charlotte’s Web, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Wonder, and The Book Thief, helping them not only understand each story, but also think critically, communicate confidently, and express themselves with heart.

For me, teaching isn’t simply a profession—it’s my calling. I love to read, write, and share the magic of language. Watching students grow, gain confidence, and fall in love with English is what inspires me every day.
