I started out in education in the year 2011 as an "Auxiliar de Conversación" in a colegio concertado in the very heart of Madrid. After three years in the role and then a year backpacking around Australia, I decided to move forward in my teaching career and undertook a PGCE, the qualification which you need to be a public school teacher in the UK. I then spent several years teaching in a variety of institutions across London, honing my skills and making sure that my pupils made progress in their studies. Upon returning to Spain, I took a role in a private British school in Majadahonda. I have also gained experience working with professionals, university students and many other people who simply wanted to get better at English to feel freer while travelling, or because they wished to be able to better communicate with their in-laws. Whatever your goals are, they'll become mine too.
