Hi! I’m Iga, a Polish native speaker currently living in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and an experienced language tutor with over 6 years of teaching practice.

I teach both English and Polish, working with students of all ages: from children taking their first steps in a new language, through teenagers preparing for exams (both basic and advanced levels), to adults who simply want to feel more confident speaking.

My English level is C2 (near-native), and I use the language every day — academically, professionally, and socially. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in International Business fully in English (graduating with the highest possible grade of 5.0), worked in the United States as a camp counselor for children with special needs, completed an Erasmus program in Spain, and for the past two years, I’ve worked entirely in English. I also hold a Business English certificate at the C1+ level.

My achievements include:
– 100% on both basic and advanced English Matura exams
– 5th place in the Opolskie Voivodeship Regional English Language Competition
– 2nd place in a regional English pronunciation contest

Polish is my native language, which I’ve always genuinely loved, especially writing, grammar, literature, and communication. I’d love to help foreigners discover that Polish can become much less intimidating with the right approach.

I also speak conversational Spanish, so if needed, we can use Spanish during classes as well.

I offer English and Polish lessons both online and in person in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. My lessons are practical, engaging, and adapted to your goals — whether you want to improve speaking, prepare for exams, learn the basics, or simply become more confident using the language in everyday life.

I’m talkative, open-minded, and I genuinely enjoy working with people. I love making lessons dynamic, natural, and focused on real communication rather than memorizing random rules without understanding them.
