Jackie Paarhuis

Having worked abroad for the last 25 years, I have mutliple experiences wiith different levels of language learners in a variety of settings. Flexible and friendly, I am a good listener who is able to adapt to my students needs. As a language learner myself (Spanish and Dutch), I instill in my students the importance to try, and not worry about mistakes. I understand the importance of not over correcting errors, but focus on imcremental improvement. Using multiple starting points and topics to encourage conversation, and fluency for both informal language use as well as formal occasions and work.
